Union Place’s Geothermal Project is Complete!

We have successfully completed installation and testing of the Union Place geothermal loop field!
Union Place is a 100% geothermal development in north Fort Collins, comprising 80 green homes, 40% of which qualify as affordable. The project also contains 19,000 square feet of commercial space.

Despite the fact that natural gas prices are still relatively low, propane prices continue to stay high. The average price of propane in the foothills is approximately $2.25 / gallon as of January 2011. A geothermal heat pump can cut your heating bill by 75% versus propane.
